Shopping For A New Car

About Me

Shopping For A New Car

When my boss told me that he needed me to shop for some fleet vehicles for our business, I thought I would be getting a well-deserved break from work. Unfortunately, the task quickly snowballed into a giant ordeal. In addition to finding a dealer that we could trust, I also didn't really know how to decide between makes and models. However, after a lot of research, I was able to narrow down my choices. I was able to find a group of cars that our salespeople could drive comfortably, and it really helped our business to branch out. This blog is all about shopping for new cars, and how to avoid some of the more common pitfalls.

Fun Ideas For Presenting A Used Truck As A Gift

Whether your teen just received his license or your husband needs a second vehicle for work, why not shock him with a used truck as a gift. Used automobiles are cheaper in price, yet still have plenty of life left in them. Once you have found a make and model that you know the man in your life will go crazy over, you'll need to come up with an exciting way to present the used truck so that it comes as a total surprise.

A Miniature

Locate a toy truck that matches the make and model of the one you purchased. Wrap it up and give it to your loved one as a gift. After he stares at the miniature truck for a few minutes, tell him to go take a look in the driveway.

Truck Accessories

Another way to hint at a used truck as a present would be to wrap up an assortment of truck accessories and then present them as gifts. Items to include could be a gas gift card, a key chain, and an air freshener he can hang from the rear view mirror. Floor mats and emergency kits are also excellent choices. Wait to see if your loved one connects the dots before telling him where to look for the final gift.

Treasure Hunt

Find a safe location where you can park the used truck. This will be the final destination of your treasure hunt, so make sure the owner of the property where you park the truck knows what you're up to. You could even ask the dealer if the truck can be left on the lot so that you can surprise your loved one when the last clue points to the dealership. Start the treasure hunt at home and use a series of clues to lead your loved one to different spots around town.

Trickery

One option to surprise your family member with a used truck is to trick him. Run around the house acting like you have something important to do. Then, grab a set of keys out of your purse and ask the family member to run out to the car to grab something that was left in there. The keys will actually be for the used truck, which you would have parked in the driveway to surprise him. He'll run out looking for your car, but find the truck instead.

No matter which method you choose to reveal the used truck as a gift for a birthday, Christmas, or just because, you're sure to elicit a big smile. Don't forget to have your camera ready to capture this precious moment.
